Stars set to party Saturday with Obama power team

One of the big parties this weekend in Washington is being thrown by Capitol File. The magazine's summer issue, featuring Valerie Jarrett, senior adviser to President Barack Obama (seated), and Desirée Rogers, White House social secretary, will be handed out at the magazine’s White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner After Party at The Corcoran Gallery of Art.

Say Jarrett in the interview: “Not a day goes by that we’re not struck by the magnitude of challenges that face our country,” adding, more lightly that: “My day would be enhanced greatly if I had a pair of roller skates so I could move around a little more swiftly than I do.”The two will mix and mingle with stars set to show at the party including: Kevin Bacon, Ludacris, Ellen Burstyn, Connie Britton, Bradley Cooper, Miranda Cosgrove, Chace Crawford, Dana Delany, Kara DioGuardi, Tony Goldwyn, Rashida Jones, Barry Levinson, Justin Long, Eva Longoria Parker, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Matthew Modine, Bill O’Reilly, Narciso Rodriguez, Matthew Settle, Christian Slater, Wanda Sykes, Jon Voight, Kate Walsh, Kerry Washington, Ed Westwick, and Forest and Keisha Whitaker.
