And in D.C. — Kate Beckinsale stunned a well-heeled Washington crowd of media and political insiders at the D.C. premiere of “Nothing But The Truth” at the Naval Heritage Center. The British actress and cover star of Capitol File magazine revealed it was actually her first trip to Washington. She said to guests that the city reminded her of London and confessed that she never imagined herself to be married and living in America, though she was plenty involved in U.S. politics during this year’s past campaign: “I’m not an American citizen and couldn’t vote,” she said. “It was impossible to not be caught up in it… I was constantly trying to sit on people and get them to vote for Obama for me.”
